The Botswana National Front (BNF) has settled on a novel answer to the oldest problem in politics: how to keep the lights on. Beginning in January 2027, the party intends to bill the very people it helped hoist into public office, converting ministerial titles, parliamentary seats and mayoral chains into a predictable stream of party revenue.
