In a generous move to enhance student well-being and academic success, Cresta Lodge has donated a portable cabin to Bokamoso Junior Secondary School for its Guidance and Counselling Department. This donation aims to provide students with a dedicated space to receive academic and personal support, addressing the growing challenges faced by students in today’s education system.
At the handover ceremony, Cresta Lodge’s General Manager, Ms. Candice Selato, highlighted the company’s commitment to making a positive impact in the local community. “We believe in using our resources to address societal challenges, including those affecting the education sector. This donation reflects our dedication to ensuring a brighter future for Botswana’s youth,” she stated.

The portable cabin will serve as an office for the school’s Guidance and Counselling Department, offering students a safe space to receive support for their academic, social, and emotional needs. Mrs. T.M Majwabe, the Headmistress of Bokamoso Junior Secondary School, expressed gratitude for the donation, emphasizing its importance in supporting students holistically. “This generous gift will greatly benefit our students by providing them with the necessary support to succeed academically and address their mental health and emotional needs,” she said.

Ms. Selato emphasized the role of collaboration between students, teachers, and parents in fostering academic excellence and well-being. “The Guidance and Counselling Department plays a critical role in supporting students on their academic, career, and personal journeys,” she added.

Cresta Lodge reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Bokamoso Junior Secondary School and the community, signaling the beginning of a long-term partnership. “We are proud to contribute to the growth and development of the school and look forward to continuing this relationship in the years to come,” Ms. Selato concluded.
