Young Letshwiti makes strides in corporate sector

The 29-year-old Motheo Letshwiti has found a niche in the corporate space where he had been making his mark. The multi-business owner is more than determined to reach heights within the corporate space without hesitation.

Currently working for Farri Investment, the determined gentleman earned his Bachelor of Social Science University of Cape Town where he majored Economics, Politics and Philosophy and minored statistics. IEB Matric with University Exemption attained with Merit). St Andrews College Grahamstown in South Africa. He is currently completing my chartered Financial analyst (CFA) Level 1 and also does Forex trading with the Global forex institute ( GFI).

Not only was he appointed into positions of leadership, Letshwiti has been moving from one place of note to the next. In 2013 he was appointed business development manager at Farri industries “I was afforded the role of business development manager at Farri industries a distribution company.

My role was to increase their product line, maintain and increase sales, a role which I excelled in. By 2015 I was approached to lead the company and subsequently given the added responsibility of developing foreign markets as well as a Directorship role at the company,” he explained to WeekendPost. In 2014 he founded Maitswe Outdoor when he discovered a gap within the outdoor marketing industry, and he decided to jump at the opportunity.

“In my time at Farri I found that there was an opportunity within the market for an affordable alternative to current   marketing agencies and advertising solutions as there was a need to raise awareness for farri’s products so Maitswe was founded at present,” he explained. Farri Industries is also the sole distributor of ESP (enjoyable safe pleasure) Condoms in Africa.

Their clients are Bomaid , BTC, Botlhe medical aid , Khuzi Catering , Star Bakery, BBS(Botswana building society) Avis car rental And  the Ministry of youth sports and culture. “Our services range from Above the line marketing solutions below the line and both digital and Outdoor Solutions such as billboards, pull up banners,” he explained.

In 2016 he became the director at Chemdol one of the biggest chemical manufacturers in Botswana producing  over  50 different  products  supplying both  government   and private  entities  from Debswana  mines  to  retail   outlets  with over  500 clients  country  wide in my short time here I have implemented structures  in place.

He said business found him at the right time where he had placed himself at the right place. “What I like about my business is that it gives me a sense of purpose and a sense of fulfilment. I am responsible for people and people’s lives.” He highlighted. Although he had faced challenges throughout such financial challenges, he has learnt to persevere despite in circumstance. “My intention is to keep in growing and pushing and see where life takes me. I just know we are limitless as children of God,” he concluded.
