SA Idols Season 14 premieres tomorrow (Sunday) at 17:00 CAT on Mzansi Magic,  packed with drama, fashion, tears, triumphs and unforgettable moments; Season 14 of Idols SA promises to change the game, taking entertainment to another level.

From bringing dreams to a reality, showcasing singing talent accompanied by entertaining wooden mic moments to the emotional journey to stardom and so much more.It would not be a great season without the infamous judges, like Unathi tearing up. The colourful “Whoo Shem” Somgaga with his hilarious and extra personality returns to shape and inspire some of Season 14’s Idol wannabes. Lastly, Randall returns to bring about a different sort of subtle entertainment that only those with the tuneful ear will understand.

Who better to offer his shoulder for comfort than the Host, Proverb. He still has the tough role to play as a hero that consoles Idols hopefuls and congratulate the ones that make it to the next round. South Africa’s most popular reality singing show kicked off auditions phase in Kwazulu-Natal at North Beach Amphitheatre in South Africa. In the past years Durban contestants have always come in large numbers to showcase their talent. This year’s audition was no different. Musa Sukwene, the Idols SA Season 9 winner filled a seat on the panel as a guest judge. We will see how he handles being on the other side of the fence.

The journey of finding Mzansi’s next Idol continued to Cape Town’s Century City Conference Centre. Hopefuls came in numbers having been inspired by Paxton’s rise to stardom in Season 13. South African’s award-winning multitalented House producer, DJ Cleo filled the guest judge’s seat for Cape Town. If the Capital City Pretoria had a personality it would be vibrant and entertaining. Who better to be on the hot seat as a judge than the ever-entertaining, fly kicking-musician Dr Malinga.

The final stop for the auditions was Johannesburg where the legendary Dr Rebecca Malope brought her warm personality and extensive music experience to play. Idols made its way to Bloemfontein, Port Elizabeth and Polokwane for pop up auditions with the help of Telkom. Get the 411 and be sure not to miss Idols SA Season 14 starting July 8 on Mzansi Magic.
