The DSTV iRock Music Festival will for the first time in five years feature a Botswana artist.  The hip hop Queen, mamaSlay, Sasa Klass aka Mmamogwato who will perform on the 9th of December in Rustenburg Royal Marang Hotel following a deal with local brand Pula Power.

The show organized by DSTV features South Africa's heavyweights from international award winning DJ Black Coffee, DJ Tira, Black Motion, Destruction Boys, Lady Zamar, Nasty C, Ricky Rick, to name but a few. The deal to feature a local artist came courtesy of the local entertainment show, the most awaited TV show, PULA POWER which makes a comeback on BTV this festive December.

Pula Power’s decision to partner with DSTV's iRock festival will see the producers accessing visual footage that will air on the BTV show. It is also an opportunity to market the show and get Batswana to travel to Rustenburg.  Batswana will experience hours of award winning music and spine chilling entertainment.

Pula Power's event coordinator and PR Executive says, "This is what the country needed especially for local artists to get an opportunity like this and gain mileage by performing at such a platform. This is the beginning because our mission at Pula Power is to cover both local and international events featuring our local artists. We have shot big shows in Durban and Joburg and more are coming this festive and next year."

The DSTV iRock Tickets are R150 and can be bought at computicket and most outlets across South Africa.
