Barely a month before the scheduled commencement of the highly anticipated beMobile premier league, local club mentors are in their own “transfer window” as many of them will lead different clubs next season.

Extension Gunners who managed to pull a surprise by qualifying for the Mascom top 8 tournament in the previous season will contest the league under the tutelage of Keitumetse Paul. The former Under 23 coach signed with the club following the departure of Cavin Petersen.

According to a highly placed source at the Peleng giants, Paul has been tasked to win The Kabelano Charity Cup, Mascom Top 8 and the Be Mobile Premier league. The former assistant coach has already roped in Oabile Makopo and Odirile “Deco” Kgaodi in efforts to beef up his squad.

Meanwhile former Motlakase mentor Dominic Changwe called it quits at the Palapye based outfit. Changwe joined Motlakase last season when the team’s performance was on a decline. The former Tafic gaffer managed to turn the tables around at the club and led them to their premier league survival.

Changwe is strongly linked with a move to Maun where he is expected to lead Sankoyo Bush Bucks in the 2015/16 season after the club parted ways with Philane Mabena.

Motlakase’s neighbours Br Highlanders have also finally promoted their care taker coach Tebogo Mokute to the hot seat on a two year deal. Mokute was previously Paul Moyo’s right hand man when the club gained premier league promotion.

Shortly after Moyo was sacked over sinking league results, Mokute was appointed care taker coach and his impressive guidance led to Highlanders missing the top 8 spot only by a whisker. Mokute was also nominated for the coach of the season award although he together with Maxwell Moyo lost the race to Mike Sithole.

Other league giants BDF XI are also without a coach after Letang Kgengwenyane parted ways with the army side. Although it was highly anticipated that Louis Setshwane would replace him, things quickly took a new twist when Setshwane was not hired for the top seat as he was said to be going to school.

According to reports, Matebele were also eyeing a coach from Zambia, but could not unfortunately sign with him. The club however is expected to announce their new coach from Zimbabwe this week.

Even though he managed to surprise football enthusiasts, leading Orapa to their maiden appearance in the top two league finish, Orapa United coach Maxwell Moyo is reportedly unhappy at the Club. The former Prisons XI, Ecco City Greens and Extension Gunners mentor is now strongly linked to a possible move to Ootse based side Police XI.

The police side was under the tutelage of Maitumelo “Junior” Lotlaamoreng last season after Sthandwa Mogwadi asked for a break from coaching at the club. However some clubs, amongst them Nico United, Mochudi Center Chiefs, Green Lovers, Jwaneng Galaxy, FC Satmos and Gaborone United are expected to continue with their coaches from last season.
