Relegation haunted clubs, Notwane and Satmos are to have another go at each other, after the Selibe Phikwe side won their case against Sankoyo Bush Bucks on Thursday evening.

Satmos had lodged a protest against Sankoyo Bush Bucks complaining that the Maun outfit used a defaulter Morris Ruzivo during their game played on the first round of the season. Initially, he disciplinary committee found Sankoyo guilty and consequently gave Satmos three points and two goals.  But because they felt hard done, Sankoyo appealed the case and it still the outcome was the same.

This therefore means FC Satmos leapfrogged Notwane into the safe zone. The Phikwe outfit is now finding itself with 32 points. Before the verdict,Notwane was on the 13th spot with 31 points.  However, the two teams are expected to be another game on a neutral ground and the loser will go straight to first division.

This is  so because regulation 5.3 of BFA play rules and regulations categorically states that “where  teams gain goals and points through a forfeiture by others, and consequently qualify for a league championship, promotion to a higher league, or avoid relegation, and such gain has displaced other teams which would otherwise have qualified, or avoided relegation, the concerned teams shall have play offs and the winner(s) of such game shall qualify for the league championship or promotion to a higher league or avoid relegation…”
